About the roleHome Caring is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a strong Operations Excellence Specialists to join our team. This newly created role reporting to our Franchise Business Partners, will play a pivotal role in strengthening our commercial operations, transforming underperforming operations and ensuring operational effectiveness. In this role you will transform individual Home Caring businesses by reviewing operations, planning and executing on required improvements and building a team to continue the strategy you implement.
You will have an opportunity to contribute to business performance and strategic growth by improving our operations in this field focused hands on role. You will demonstrate experience and confidence in identifying areas of improvement, operations execution, decision-making, strong leadership skills, and an ability create positive change.
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Analysis of business performance to assess gaps, develop and implement efficient business processes to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
- People management: Effectively lead and manage the current team by providing clear guidance and support, build on the organisational structure and develop them to operate independently with clear accountabilities.
- Change leadership: Drive initial improvements align with the overall organisational goals and lead change initiatives that are critical to business continuity and long-term sustainability.
- Business Management: Oversee and manage all elements of the business, focusing on day-to-day operations ensuring seamless execution of business processes whilst recruiting, building, and developing a talented team that will drive continued transformation and growth.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Franchise Business Partners and key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive, short-term strategic plan aimed at driving change and making critical improvements to current operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Review and confirm that all business operations comply with relevant regulations, identify potential critical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- A passion to make operational improvements to transform business performance
- Previous experience managing disability, aged care or home care businesses include Supported Independent Living facilities
- At least 3 years' experience in leading teams, influencing and being responsible for driving outcomes
- Resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement
- The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse stakeholder group.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- A proactive approach and desire to create positive change
- Understanding of the healthcare industry and/or experience in a clinical service delivery business would be an advantage
