About the position

We are seeking qualified Industrial Electricians to join our Maintenance team at our Inverell Processing Facility. In this role you will undertake a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance in ensuring our production facility has minimal downtime and operates as efficiently as possible.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure safety standards are always met (safety comes first).
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep things running like clockwork.

About you

  • Current Trade Certification - Cert III Electrotechnology
  • NSW Electrical Licence
  • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of motor controls, PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Well developed fault finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand production processes and requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a rotating roster and undertaking of weekend maintenance work
