As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team in Far West, NSW.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Electrician to perform maintenance, installation, and repair work on various electrical systems and equipment in a mining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, motors, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in mining equipment.
  • Install and commission new electrical systems and equipment underground.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Australian electrical standards and mine site regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of underground mining equipment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as an Electrician.
  • Current NSW Electrical License.
  • High level of competency in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of mining safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
