The opportunity

As a newly created position within the structure, the Development Services team are seeking a Development Services Support Team Leader to provide leadership and oversee the day-to-day management of the Development Services Support (DSS) Team. DSS provide specialised administrative support to the Development Planning and Building Certification Teams.

• This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time, 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
• Base Salary Range: $87,392 - $102,814 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance 
• You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

• Coordinate and manage daily work tasks of the DSS Team
• Prepare, review and amend DC policies, management directives, systems views, business plans and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective delivery of services
• To establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders

• Relevant qualifications in local government, business management, business administration or a related discipline or equivalent combination of contemporary experience in this field
• Demonstrated experience in leadership including the ability to plan, motivate and supervise a team
• Proven ability to monitor and review team budgets
