About The Role
The Senior Project Manager is a permanent position, based at North Ryde, NSW. Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Operational Excellence and Capital Projects, you will be responsible for leading the governance framework and delivery of large and complex cross functional programs, primarily capital works projects. This role would manage multiple, simultaneous programs, utilising the PEM Project Management governance framework, to ensure the successful delivery of the program to agreed scope, quality, budget and timelines. The role will also have accountability for the development of standards that are applied consistently to Distribution Centre and factory investment activity.
In This Role You Will
- Lead development and mobilisation of appropriate governance to deliver the program in line with CSR strategy & Saint Gobain project management (PEM) requirements
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans (scope, objectives, resourcing, costs and sequencing, timelines) to provide a consolidated view across all projects in scope for Capital Works team and EGM
- Support program and project priorities and resourcing to ensure delivery against agreed strategic initiatives
- Provide integrated tracking of budget, benefits, timelines, issues and risks / opportunities for Capital Works team and EGM
- Identify and facilitate the resolution of cross program issues impacting scope, budget, timeline or quality of the solution
- Identify, share and manage interdependencies cross-functionally and across work streams to deliver plans
- Provide the Steering Committee with status reporting, issue escalation and ensuring Steering Committee guidance is executed
What You Bring To The Role
- Minimum of 10+ years proven ability to successfully delivering programs and projects with a focus on complex, cross-business or cross-functional programs/projects
- Leadership and development of project methodologies, governance frameworks and templates/checklists
- Experience in building industrial complexes and/or factories
- Experience in tendering and commercial management of multi-party building contracts
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate across many different functions and organisation levels
