About the role:
CSR is looking for a Segment Manager to lead the national strategy for Himmel and Martini, our premium brands in commercial interior systems. This is a high-impact role where you'll combine commercial acumen, leadership, and innovation to deliver exceptional results.
As Segment Manager, you will be the key driver of growth across Australia, developing and executing strategies that strengthen our market position and expand our product portfolio. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, lead national sales initiatives, and build partnerships with contractors, builders, and resellers to ensure our solutions remain the first choice for commercial projects.
This is more than a sales role—it's an opportunity to influence the future of the industry, champion best-practice distribution, and deliver value to customers through technical expertise and market insight.
Key Accountabilities
- Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and implement business growth plans, including network modelling, business case development, and execution aligned with best-practice distribution.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Lead the Himmel/Martini segment sales strategy nationally, supporting CSR's Transformation program for Interior Systems Commercial segments.
- Customer Growth: Build and execute growth plans with key customers to drive continuous share growth across the Himmel and Martini portfolio.
- Pipeline Ownership: Manage the national sales project pipeline with building owners, builders, and contractors.
- CRM Excellence: Oversee Interior Systems Project Tracking and Commercial Pipeline to deliver best-practice CRM behaviours and processes.
- Pricing & Profitability: Collaborate with Finance and Category Management to maintain market-relevant pricing aligned with profitability targets.
- Product Development: Work with Category Management to identify and grow product ranges for commercial segment opportunities, ensuring technical and compliance standards.
What You'll Bring
- Proven commercial experience, ideally with leadership of a sales team.
- Strong ability to design and deliver sales excellence programs, including pricing and commercial acumen.
- Experience managing channels to market (contractors and resellers).
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrix structure.
- Skilled in building productive partnerships internally and externally.
- Technical understanding of products and ability to support customers and contractors.
