About our role
As our National Account Manager within Foodservice, you will accelerate exceptional management of our key corporate accounts and QSR customers by delivering profitable growth as well as seeking and acquiring new diverse and profitable business opportunities. In this dynamic and exciting role, you will manage both internal and external stakeholders to deliver our commercial and overall company strategy. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership and accountability as a senior member of the Foodservice and Commercial Sales Team.
Reporting directly into the National Business Manager ANZ for Foodservice you will be based in any city location across Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. This is a diverse, broad and dynamic role that will provide the unique opportunity to accelerate your career within Foodservice.
What you will do
- Expertly manage the full extent of customer interactions, including new product sales, range consolidation in favor of Simplot products, contract negotiations, tenders/RFPs, quarterly reporting, rebate and trade spend management, forecasting, JBP's, and business reviews.
- Develop strategic plans to build and maintain collaborative, mutually beneficial, long-term business partnerships.
- Sell across the broad range of Simplot product categories and actively seek new profitable customer acquisitions.
- Provide in-depth market feedback and intelligence to support the strategy and direction of the foodservice channel.
- Actively participate in and contribute to relevant category team meetings to drive channel performance.
- Manage all internal and external relationships, ensuring effective communication and alignment of interests.
- Oversee trade spend to ensure customer growth and deliver strong ROI in line with budget expectations.
Demonstrate strong business acumen by aligning customer strategies with broader commercial goals and performance metrics.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have had significant experience in a similar position within the FMCG or Agri industry. You will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Foodservice and will have had significant experience delivering in a high performing team.
- Proven experience of success in a high performing team within foodservice.
- You will be an experienced sales professional with a strong track record of delivering exceptional ROI.
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
- Commercial Acumen - The ability to understand and analyse detailed financial information and reports.
- Ability to engage, present and influence at a senior level (both internally and externally)
- Experience in developing and driving a robust customer strategy.
- Significant experience with customer negotiations and joint business planning.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Ability to travel interstate - You will possess a driving license and have the ability to travel up to once a month and as required.
