About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Functions Administrator to join our team on a casual/part-time basis (25 hours per week). This role is perfect for someone with a background in hospitality who enjoys planning, coordinating, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer all aspects of functions and events
  • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and ensure expectations are met
  • Prepare function sheets and work closely with kitchen and service teams
  • Assist with venue bookings, event logistics, and customer follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and hospitality protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to functions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry is essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and function management systems (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work days as required
