Overview

We're hiring 2 friendly, proactive and driven Event Customer Service & Sales Associates to represent KameLo at their annual trade show. This is a casual role during the show, with potential ongoing opportunities for the right candidates who demonstrate strong sales performance, excellent customer service, and long-term availability. Attractive remuneration will vary based on skill set and experience.

About the Role:

  • Provide welcoming, professional service to event attendees at our exhibit booth.
  • Learn and confidently communicate KameLo product knowledge, including PPE trends and features.
  • Demonstrate consultative sales techniques to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Qualify leads, capture contact details, and book follow-up meetings for the sales team.
  • Maintain booth presentation, merchandising standards, and stock organization.
  • Assist with booth setup and pack-down; ensure a safe, tidy environment in line with WHS best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and team members to meet daily engagement and sales targets.
  • Accurately record interactions, feedback, and sales outcomes using provided tools.

Note: This is a casual opportunity for the duration of the show. For high performers who show strong sales capability, great customer service, and are available longer-term, there is potential for ongoing opportunities after the event.

About You

- Experience in retail, events, promotions, or customer-facing roles with a track record of great service.

- Confident communicator with a friendly, approachable manner and active listening skills.

- Genuine passion for creating a standout customer experience.

- Interest in PPE, safety, workwear, or adjacent industrial products (training provided).

- Sales-minded: comfortable initiating conversations, handling objections, and closing or securing next steps.

- Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to work on your feet in a busy booth environment.

- Team player with a collaborative attitude and customer focus.

- Honest and compliant, able to follow policies and procedures in a regulated environment.

- Problem-solver with initiative; able to prioritize tasks and stay organized under time pressure.

Bonus/Useful Skills

- Lead capture and basic CRM data entry experience.

- Visual merchandising and booth presentation skills.

- WHS awareness and safe manual handling practices.

- Multilingual communication skills.

- Experience in B2B sales conversations or trade show environments.

- Basic content capture (photos/short videos) for social updates during events.

- Cash handling and POS familiarity (if required for on-stand sales).

- Ability to quickly learn technical product features and explain them simply.

Availability

- Must be available in October between October 22-23, 2025, including:

- Pre-event briefing/training session.

- Event days (full-day shifts).

- Setup and pack-down as required.
