The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced
Manager - Customer Success & Technical Services
(ideal for candidates with a background as a
Sales Manager, Branch Manager, or Technical Services Manager
in
hydraulics, engineering, fluid power, or a related industry
) to lead operations in Mackay.

This is a pivotal leadership role combining
strategic sales growth, customer relationship management, technical service delivery, and team leadership
.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Sales & Growth
  • Lead sales strategy, grow existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Customer Success
  • Own key client projects, strengthen long-term relationships, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Technical Services Management
  • Oversee workshop and field teams, ensuring high-quality, safe and efficient operations.
  • Branch & Team Leadership
  • Mentor the Sales Manager, Workshop Manager and Business Support, building a strong, collaborative culture.
  • Operational Results
  • Manage budgets, track KPIs, and ensure profitability and cost control.

About You

You'll bring a blend of
commercial acumen and technical knowledge
, with experience in roles such as
Sales Manager, Technical Services Manager or Branch/Operations Manager
. Specifically, you'll have:

  • A proven track record in
    sales leadership and service delivery
    (
    hydraulics, engineering or similar
    ).
  • Strong commercial focus with success in growing revenue and margins.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical qualifications in
    engineering, hydraulics, fluid power or related field
    (desirable).
