THE COMPANY
The HMA Group is an international engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the supply of; wear resistant lining solutions, material handling equipment, boiler cleaning equipment and services, process instrumentation and valve solutions. Our wide range of equipment and services are used across all industries including mining, power generation, industrial, petrochemical, oil and gas, process, water and wastewater.
We are seeking a motivated individual, to promote the HMA Wear Solutions products across the mining and industrial sectors servicing the Mackay region. HMA Wear Solutions are recognised as a market leader in this field and have been supplying and manufacturing specialised ceramic wear resistant linings and systems in Australia for over 40 years.
THE ROLE
Based in our QLD branch office in Mackay and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the key objectives of this position will be to manage existing business and continue to increase our market share across the mining and industrial sectors primarily in the Mackay & Coalfields region, and Sth to Gladstone.
You will be responsible for an existing customer base using your technical and commercial expertise to support and grow our business. It will be your task to be a part of our continued growth in the region across our full range of products. This is a position for somebody who desires increased challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to make it their own. Opportunities will be provided in promoting other products within the HMA Group, which further makes this position interesting and challenging.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful candidates will have the following skills and attributes;
- Experience in the sales process and KPI focused
- Mechanical Trade, Engineering Certificate or Technical Experience
- Experienced in sales and/or the mining industry
- Highly Motivated & Enthusiastic
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly motivated to develop business
- Possess strong computer skills around the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent time management
- Ability to travel to site regularly
In addition you will thrive on visiting customers, identifying opportunities and generating enquiries for HMA Group products through a differentiated sales process, follow up project activity, undertake sales presentations to key account customers and importantly be able to close the sale.
A salary package plus a car allowance/company car will be negotiated with the successful applicant who will also enjoy the benefits of our 9 day fortnight along with the prospect of participation in the company employee ownership scheme.
