The Opportunity:We are seeking a Technical Salesperson to join our Queensland team based in the Central/North QLD region (Mackay and surrounding areas).

In this full-time role you will manage an existing customer base while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Promote Smenco's range of premium welding and industry products
  • Deliver tailored technical solutions and support to customers
  • Organise monthly call plans and manage your schedule independently
  • Conduct regular site visits, calls and follow-ups
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales enquiries
  • Accurately maintain customer records
  • Meet and exceed defined product sales targets

About YouWe're looking for someone who brings:

  • Sound product and industry knowledge (welding or industrial equipment preferred)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation and time management skills
  • A motivated and proactive approach to sales and customer service
  • High level of computer literacy and organisation
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader national team
  • A current driver's license and flexibility to travel within your region
  • Permanent residency or Australian citizenship
