Pay: $38–$52 per hour + super (casual). Penalty rates apply for evenings/weekends; public holidays pay higher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility).
  • Support residents' comfort, dignity and personal hygiene.
  • Deliver basic care aligned to individual care plans.
  • Observe, document and promptly report changes in condition to the RN/EN.
  • Follow infection prevention & control, manual handling and facility procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) — minimum 6 months recent aged care experience; or nursing students who have completed at least 1 placement.
  • Empathetic communicator with strong teamwork skills and resident-first mindset.
  • Safe manual-handling and mobility assistance (hoists/transfers).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.

Compliance

  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations as required by facilities.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
