The Role

We are in search for experienced Aged Care Personal Care Workers to join our friendly and vibrant team in Cairns on a full time or part time basis across mornings, afternoons and nights.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to join a team that prides itself on having a resident-centred care approach and strives for industry excellence. The successful candidate will be supported by a strong facility and regional management team.

About You

  • Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (essential)
  • Availability to work across 24/7 rotating roster
  • Minimum of 12 month's experience as a Personal Care Worker in aged care (preferred)
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
  • Hold a genuine and true passion for aged care & ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm manner
  • Be committed and work as a team to facilitate activities catering towards the residents well-being
  • Be able to build rapport with residents to maintain professional relationships
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
