The Role:
The Business Change Analyst is responsible for undertaking and coordinating a range of change processes that ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives across the PlanSA systems. This includes working closely with individuals and teams across DHUD, as well as external customers, to prepare and support with changes associated with the implementation of new or improved processes and technology. The role will work collaboratively with the PlanSA team, and DHUD staff to ensure successful project implementation. The Plan SA system for which this role is responsible comprises multiple sub-systems including:
- Development Application Processing System (DAP)
- Plan SA Portal
- Planning Information Exchange
- Online Planning & Design Code
- Online Consultation
- Document Management System
- Operational Data Store
- Power BI Reporting
About You:
To be successful in these positions, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Experience in the planning and execution of change activities, including identifying and mitigating risks.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective information is provided via multiple channels.
- Ability to understand and address the concerns of those affected by change and the flexibility in adjusting strategies as needed.
- Experience in defining success metrics and tracking the benefits.
- Experience working with Agile or hybrid project including working in release readiness process.
- Ability to develop and implement training plans to support the adoption of the change.
- Knowledge of established Change Management methodologies (PROSCI, ADKAR).
- Ability to think creatively, analyse and resolve problems, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ability to operate under limited direction, exercise judgement, identify priorities and achieve quality results in a context of competing priorities.

Special Conditions
Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
Remuneration:
ASO6 - $98,478 p.a min - $104,165 p.a max
