About Our Client Our client is a specialist engineering manufacturer with its head office in Western Australia and a service factory in the Mittagong region, NSW. They deliver customised industrial solutions and outstanding after-sales support across the mining, construction and infrastructure sectors.
Your New Role You will report into the Director in the WA head office and work on site at the NSW service factory, leading end-to-end inventory and factory operations.
  • Drive inventory strategy, forecasting and stock optimisation
  • Oversee materials planning, procurement scheduling and supplier performance
  • Manage factory workflows, capacity planning and production KPIs
  • Implement lean initiatives to minimise waste and boost throughput
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and ERP maintenance
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of planners, warehouse staff and technicians
What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years' experience in inventory management and manufacturing operations
  • Expertise in demand forecasting, MRP/ERP systems and supplier relationship management
  • Proven leadership in developing and motivating multi-site teams
  • Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline
