About the Role:
We're looking for a full time Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team building theBOSSapp, a comprehensive business management platform designed for construction and testing companies. Our application streamlines project management, compliance tracking, timesheet management, and business operations through a modern, scalable architecture.
Responsibilities:
You'll be working on a sophisticated Laravel API backend and React frontend that serves construction companies, testing laboratories, and project management teams. The platform handles complex business logic including project workflows, compliance tracking, financial integrations, and multi-tenant architecture. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Laravel 11 and PHP 8.2.
- Develop complex backend logic for processes including project management, compliance, and timesheet tracking.
- Architect and manage multi-tenant MySQL databases, with performance tuning and caching via Redis.
- Create responsive, interactive user interfaces using React 18, TypeScript, and Vite.
- Develop dynamic frontend components, including data visualisations , ), calendars, and tables.
- Manage application state and forms using Redux.
- Manage search infrastructure via Typesense.
- Implement secure, real-time API integrations with third-party services such as Xero, Microsoft Graph, Stripe, OpenAI, and AWS.
- Build and maintain background job processing and webhook handling for real-time data sync.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS using Laravel Vapor, Docker, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and ensure application reliability using tools Sentry.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with complex business logic.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- 3 + years Expert-level PHP/Laravel experience.
- Experience with project management systems or construction/engineering domains.
- Understanding of compliance tracking and regulatory requirements.
- Strong database skills with MySQL, complex queries, and optimization.
- Knowledge of financial integrations and accounting workflows.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Security best practices and compliance experience.
- The ability to work under pressure, show initiative, prioritise and schedule work as required.
