An opportunity has become available for a
Road Tester/Quality Controller
in our
Ford Sunshine
workshop in
Ashmore
. The position entails carrying out quality control inspections and road tests on all Ford vehicles going through the workshop. The applicant will need a keen eye for detail, have a strong customer focus, be able to work in a team environment liaising with Service Advisors, Foreman and Technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Complete final quality control checks on vehicles to make sure the vehicles released meet and exceed manufacturers requirements
  • To fulfil waiting customer requirements and road test
  • To assist the Workshop Controller in the daily functioning of the workshop
  • Carrying out checks on used vehicles coming through the workshop
  • Final check of job cards coming through the workshop before handing over to Service Advisors

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified technician or Senior technician looking for an alternative position within a Service Department
  • Current QLD manual driver license
  • Previous experience performing road tests and quality control functions are a benefit but not essential
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with ability to provide guidance and support to technical team via demonstrated knowledge and capability
