ABOUT YOU
Are you tired of working on the tools?
Have you got experience in estimating and strong administration skills?
Do you know about plastic welding and fabrication or plumbing and piping?
We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with customers, can 'build the thing in their head' before preparing estimates, and collaborate with our highly skilled operations team to deliver creative solutions.
Ideally, you're looking for a long-term opportunity and are excited about becoming an expert in our unique operations while progressively taking on more challenging work as your experience and network grows. We will provide training as needed for someone with the right foundations and knowledge.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're expanding our sales and estimating team
- review and develop tender documentation
- cost work with detailed pricing models for quotes and monthly claim and invoice generation
- work closely with our operations team and customers to determine scope and design of work
- interpret drawings and plans to work out construction methodologies and generate material take offs
- consider commercial risk in customer agreements
- work closely with our Production Coordinator, supply chain/purchasing team, customers and suppliers to align the timing of works
- hand over job packages to the operations team, complete with accurate take-offs, estimates and detailed plans
- monitor progress of the job and manage variations to scope
- develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers
ABOUT US
We are proudly Tasmanian owned and have a family feel, but we're experts in our field of HDPE plastic fabrication, pipelines and other solutions, with projects spanning the aquaculture, industrial, civil and agricultural sectors.
