The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist to support a young female participant based in Cobram, VIC. This home and community-based role involves conducting functional assessments and providing ongoing support that fosters structure, confidence, and greater independence. The ideal candidate will be confident working with individuals who require support with communication, daily routines, social engagement, and cognitive processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete functional assessments in line with NDIS goals
  • Develop structured routines and personalised therapy plans
  • Support participants with practical skill-building and emotional regulation
  • Provide strategies to enhance independence at home and in the community
  • Collaborate with families, support workers, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NDIS standards

About You

  • Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience supporting clients with diverse cognitive and communication needs
  • Knowledge of sensory regulation, routine development, and goal-oriented therapy
  • Able to work independently and travel to participant's home
  • Compassionate, reliable, and person-centred

NDIS Compliance (Required or Willing to Obtain):

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (Victoria)
  • National Police Clearance
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Location

This role is based in Cobram, VIC, supporting the participant in their home and local community settings.
