Elegance HLM is actively seeking an talented private residence housekeeper who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily running, cleanliness, and organisation of a private residence, while also assisting with the care and well-being of two household dogs. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, discretion, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining a welcoming and well-managed home environment. The role is for 3 possibly 4 days a week, 7am - 12pm, early hours, great for a part time role.

Keys Responsibilities

Household Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Daily cleaning of all living area's of the home
  • Full vac, mop, dust, polish weekly
  • Laundry management, wardrobe management
  • Bed making and linen changes

Household Management

  • Provisioning & restock
  • Maintenance & repairs
  • Coordinating trades
  • Security & awareness of the property

Pet Care - Managing 2 Dogs

  • Walking

  • Appointments

Errands & Support

  • Groceries & general shopping
  • Light meal preparation & cooking (optional)
  • Deliveries & household correspondence

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private residence or private yacht
  • High attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Strong organisational skills & time management
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of household privacy
  • Genuine love of animals, particularly dogs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the household

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license mandatory
  • Ability to work 7am - 12pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, including occasional weekends if required.
  • Police check and references required.
