With a reputation built on trust, excellence, and delivery, we are continuing to expand and are now looking for a skilled Accounts Officer. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Perth, offering the chance to work within a supportive and driven team.

About the Role:

As our Accounts Officer, you would be responsible for executing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health of the business by efficiently handling both incoming and outgoing payments, liaising with vendors and customers, and ensuring all records are up to date

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, reconcile vendor statements, and manage payment schedules. Liaise with Project teams to verify approvals. Uphold "Procurement to Payment" procedures ensuring all relevant approvals are verified under the Delegation of Authority Matrix.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Generate and issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, manage debtor accounts, and process receipts.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile company bank accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including aged payables and receivables summaries.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with relevant tax and financial regulations, and support audits when required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable and receivable roles.
  • Experience in the construction or mining industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or SAP.
