The Opportunity
Aventedge organise conferences and events on a range of topics including women in leadership, HR & law, affordable housing, aged care and Indigenous affairs.
The position of Inbound Delegate Sales Representative involves contacting warm leads (who have downloaded a brochure on a particular event) to discuss the event that they have expressed interest in and nurture them through to registration
This involves:
- Developing a clear understanding of the events that they will be talking about, the target market and value proposition;
- Calling warm leads (people who have already expressed an interest in the event, no cold calling)
- Following up with emails or further communication/ customer service
- Maintaining accurate sales activity and lead records in the company's sales systems;
The successful candidate:
This position would suit a motivated and ambitious salesperson who wants career progression and is willing to smash their targets to achieve it.
Ideally they will have:
- Confidence and experience with picking up the phone and calling warm leads
- Resilience — Not afraid of knock backs and open to learning
- A positive and proactive approach
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Motivation and the ability to self-lead in a hybrid work environment
- An interest in business news and current affairs
Benefits & Salary
- A hybrid working framework – Work from home 50% of the time and from the office with a view of Sydney Harbour, ping pong tables/ social office environment the rest.
- Uncapped earning potential. Base salary of $65,000-$70,000 plus bonus' of $8-$9k if achieving targets.
- Opportunity for career progression depending on performance.
