Care to Care provides in-home assistance to Aged and Disabled clients enabling them to live their lives independently in their own homes.

Our services include Personal Care, Nursing Care, Domestic Assistance, Transportation, Companionship & Pastoral Care, In-Home Respite and Light Gardening.

We are looking for experienced Aged and/or Disability Support Workers to join our team to look after our clients in both the Rothwell areas and in the Taigum areas. Our clients pride themselves on tidy homes so willingness to assist in Domestic tasks is a must

The successful candidates will have a strong background in Community Care and will thrive on working in a close-knit team and have a passion for delivering the highest quality in client care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Personal Care
  • Provide Domestic Assistance (tidying and light cleaning)
  • Provide companionship and support clients with social activities
  • Assist clients with transportation to appointments, etc.
  • Meal preparation
  • Assist Clients with medication

Key requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (open to those studying)
  • Well presented, reliable and resilient
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • Assist clients with medication unit (desirable – or willing to obtain)
  • Blue and yellow card/NDIS Workers screening check or willing to obtain
  • Comprehensive car insurance
  • COVID 19 Vaccination

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.84 – $73.51 per hour

Experience:

  • Aged/Disability Care: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Preferred)
  • Driver's licence (Preferred)
  • First Aid/CPR (Preferred)
