About the Role

As a Support Worker at Real Care Disability, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will provide personalized care, assist with daily activities, and support clients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, household chores, and medication management.
  • Provide emotional and social support, encouraging community participation and engagement.
  • Support clients in developing life skills and pursuing hobbies, education, or employment opportunities.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to relevant professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and support networks to ensure holistic care.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Certifications: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (preferred).
  • Experience: Previous experience in disability, aged care, or mental health support is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, problem-solving, and adaptability.
  • Requirements: Valid First Aid & CPR certification, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening (if applicable).

Job Types: Subcontract, Casual, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00 – $48.98 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
