MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON

Casual relief position

Applicants must:

  • hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
  • Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
  • Proven ability as an effective team member
  • Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
  • Ability to understand the work environment by, learning quickly to use and maintain, cleaning equipment, materials and chemical supplies.
  • Awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
  • NSW LR Class driver's licence

Your application should address the above criteria including the nomination of two referees.

You will be provided with a casual contract, however, a casual contract is no promise of work, ongoing work, or otherwise.
