About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at B and D Bunt Earthmoving Contractors as an Excavator Operator. In this casual role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a range of construction plant and machinery at our Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450 location.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely and competently operate excavator
  • Performing routine maintenance and pre-start checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Communicating effectively with the wider construction team to coordinate workflow and ensure timely project deliver

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a plant operator in the construction industry
  • Relevant industry certifications, RII's and licenses
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
