The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrician & Refrigeration Mechanic/Handyperson to join the team at our remote mining operation (Site Based). Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our village and NPI areas while supporting broader site operations.

You'll work with cutting-edge refrigeration systems, electrical infrastructure, and general maintenance across our mining village and processing facilities.

What You'll Do

Technical Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair village refrigeration units ensuring optimal availability and performance
• Conduct electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and equipment compliance testing
• Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring on critical equipment
• Maintain statutory records and ensure adherence to electrical standards and legislation
• Utilise Pronto maintenance systems for asset management and reporting
• Provide general handyman services across mine site camp facilities

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade Certificate
• Electrical trade qualification
• Current "C" Class Western Australian driver's license

Highly Desirable:

• St Johns Senior First Aid certificate
• Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
• EWP, Forklift, and Dogman tickets
• Previous mining or remote site experience

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
• Experience with refrigeration systems maintenance and repair
• Computer literacy with business software (Pronto systems experience desirable)
• Understanding of electrical legislation, standards, and WHS requirements
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
