We are a 350+ seater restaurant, open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, committed to delivering exceptional hospitality. Our mission is to create a welcoming and vibrant dining institution where service and quality are paramount.

Job role

Rococo Mordialloc is looking for experienced Chefs to join our team. This incredible, full-time opportunity will help further your career in an established and credible hospitality venue, with achievable career prospects.

You will play an integral role in the success of Rococo Mordialloc.

Some of your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follow recipes to prepare high quality meals
  • Menu development
  • Inventory control
  • Managing food costs
  • Staff training and development
  • Liaising with suppliers

Who we are looking for:

  • We are an extremely busy restaurant and trade at very high volume so the ability to work under pressure while maintaining standards is an absolute must;
  • Relevant Diploma Qualification or experience in lieu
  • At least 2 years Previous Chef experience essential;
  • A passion for good food, quality ingredients and flavours is highly regarded;
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • We are looking for someone with initiative and drive;
  • A professional and hands on approach with a willingness to learn and develop;
  • You will be required to be well presented at all times;
