Project Engineer

About the role

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Maintenance team, based from Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and technical management and guidance for the maintenance and renewal of transport (road, bridge, pathway, drainage, marine) including the Kings Highway (under RMCC contract) assets, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The salary for this position is up to $143,360.41 per annum inclusive of superannuation and industry allowance, with access to a leaseback vehicle and a range of significant benefits outlined below.

About you

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with demonstrated experience in civil construction maintenance including road, bridge, pathway, drainage, and marine infrastructure? We are looking for someone with experience in the preparation and management of contracts, and in planning and monitoring resources and activities including budgeting. The successful candidate will also possess:

• Demonstrated experience in the development and management of frameworks, including policies, procedures, codes of practice, quality assurance, risk and compliance systems.
• Sound knowledge in the use of technology and ability to use software programs.
• Demonstrated extensive interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills including an ability to effectively manage stakeholders, contractors, teams and individuals.
