What you'll be doing?- Robot Programming Excellence - Program and optimize industrial robots using advanced techniques, with preference for KUKA systems, ensuring peak performance across complex automation projects
- System Integration Leadership - Design, integrate, and commission complete robotic automation systems from initial concept through to fully operational production lines
- Technical Problem Solving - Apply high-level problem-solving skills to overcome complex technical challenges and optimize robotic system performance
- Electrical Implementation - Undertake electrical hookup, wiring, and comprehensive testing of sophisticated robotic systems
- Quality Assurance - Lead FAT and SAT processes to ensure automation projects meet the highest standards and client expectations
- Team Development - Guide and potentially manage small technical teams, sharing expertise and fostering professional growth
- Simulation and Programming - Utilize robot simulation software and offline programming to develop efficient, reliable automation solutions
- Extensive Robotics Experience - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience programming industrial robots, demonstrating proven expertise in complex automation projects
- KUKA Expertise Preferred - Strong capability with KUKA robotics systems, though exceptional candidates with other platforms will be considered
- PLC Integration Skills - Solid understanding of PLC programming and integration to ensure seamless automation system operation
- Simulation Proficiency - Experience with robot simulation software and offline programming techniques for efficient project development
- System Assembly Expertise - Proven track record in assembling, testing, and optimizing complete robotic systems from ground up
- Australian Residency - Must already be based in Australia, with interstate relocation support available for exceptional candidates
- Leadership Potential - Demonstrated ability to guide teams and take ownership of complex technical projects
