The Carers Queensland Registered Training Organisation (RTO)is growing, and we are looking for the right person to join our Student Services Team who is
agile, goal orientated and enjoys providing customer service in a fast-paced
work environment.

About the role - Student Support Officer

We are seeking a customer service champion to join our RTO
Team The Student Support Officer provides exceptional customer service to
potential and enrolled students, supporting their educational journey and
vocational outcomes. This role also builds online and face-to-face communities
to enhance connections, learning, and placement opportunities. The Student
Support officer assists students through onboarding and provides ongoing
support to maximise satisfaction and successful progression.

Key Duties:

  • Enrolment conversion by
    proactively contacting and providing prompt follow-up to enquirers.
  • Engage with potential
    student through group and one-on-one sessions.
  • Advise students on
    enrolment, study programs, funding, credit transfer, withdrawals, and
    academic transcripts.
  • Perform administrative
    duties, including processing enrolments, managing the RTO training inbox,
    and maintaining accurate data in our customer database and online learning
    management system.
  • Support the RTO delivery
    team with management of student progression and contribute to continuous
    service improvement.

About You:

  • 2 years + experience in vocational education with an
    understanding of Queensland funding arrangements.
  • Proactive and positive
    approach, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication
    skills for responding to phone, online or face-to-face enquiries.
  • Strong focus on customer service and highly motivated to
    achieve set KPIs and goals.
