At Carers Queensland we are
seeking an experienced, passionate, and qualified Trainer & Assessor to
take a lead role in providing high quality training to our Individual Support students and help shape the future of care.

As our part time Trainer & Assessor, you will provide
high-quality, engaging and practical training, through delivery of interactive
online training, practical face-to-face sessions (various locations), as well
support student with site visits during placement and contribute to the
on-going development and enhancement of our curriculum.

Some of your key
responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver training and
    assessment services online and face-to-face.
  • Conduct support sessions with
    students and regularly contact student cohort to provide support and feedback
    to all students to ensure successful completion of study.
  • Monitor, mark and conduct
    student assessments.
  • Plan, review and improve
    training and assessment materials, including participating in assessment
    validation/moderation for continuous improvement.

What can you bring, do you?

  • Hold a TAE40116 Certificate
    IV in Training and Assessment or its successor qualification.
  • Have a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • Have at least 2 years
    relevant industry training experience plus at least 12months evidence of industry currency.
  • Have you used IT platforms such as Microsoft Office, AXCELERATE or similar.
  • Have high-level communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport quickly and
    adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved.
