Your new roleAs the Production Superintendent, you will lead day-shift mining operations to ensure production, quality, and safety targets are achieved. You will provide high-level leadership to Supervisors and crews, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with site and client expectations.

  • Oversee daily production to achieve operational and quality targets
  • Lead and mentor Production Supervisors and crews across day shift operations
  • Ensure effective resource allocation, equipment availability, and operational continuity
  • Work cross-functionally with maintenance, technical, and client teams
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and safety leadership
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental, and statutory requirements

What you'll need to suceed

  • Previous experience as a Production Superintendent in an open cut mining environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills within contract mining operations
  • Proficiency with heavy earthmoving equipment and mine production systems
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and dedication to high performance and safety
