Our client company, a Japanese jewelry brand expanding across Asia, now preparing to enter the Australian market. We are seeking a
Retail Marketing Coordinator
based in Sydney to support local research and operational setup efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research on the Australian jewelry industry (trends, competitors, price points, etc.)
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating focus group interviews
  • Identify potential locations for pop-up stores or retail outlets
  • Research and support lease negotiations (size, duration, rental terms)
  • Compile and contact local vendors and shopping malls; coordinate communications
  • Participate in regular online meetings with the Japan headquarters and submit reports
  • Provide on-the-ground support as needed (event support, launch preparations, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Australian permanent resident or citizen
  • Currently residing in Sydney
  • Work experience in the jewelry or fashion industry
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with the Japan team (Japanese language ability not required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest in the fashion or jewelry industry
  • Experience in market research or retail location development
