Fitter Machinist

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter Machinist to join our Remanufacturing East team at Kings Park. This permanent, full-time role involves hands-on machining work in our machine shop, workshop and field environments . You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our high-quality standards are met across our premium OEM brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform machining work on diesel engine components, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Work in the machine shop, workshop, and field environment as needed.
  • Support the broader Service Team in achieving productivity and efficiency targets.
  • Provide proactive customer support, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.

About you:

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist.
  • Experience operating machining tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of machining work related to diesel engine reconditioning.
  • Fabrication and welding experience (desirable).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Proactive team player with strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
