About the role

As a Fitter with machining, at Brain Industries you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of pneumatic pump and pulley systems and equipment.   This full-time position is based in Carrington, NSW 2294 and offers the opportunity to work with a leading provider of specialised products to the mining and industrial sectors.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair faults in systems and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of a range of components
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and optimise system performance
  • Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and parts used
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, employment, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Preferred: formal trade qualifications as a Fitter, Machinist or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of mining systems and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Proven excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, employment and environmental regulations
