The Role

As the Facilities Coordinator, you will coordinate building maintenance jobs and manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors. You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills, and work proactively to ensure any issues are rectified as soon as possible. You will adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures, making sure the office spaces are safe and compliant. This is a 6-month contract, working full-time hours however flexibility with your availability is needed if maintenance work takes place outside of core hours.

Your key duties will include:

  • Managing contractor relationships and establishing strong communication channels with contractors.
  • Overseeing the coordination of building maintenance works.
  • Coordinating office refit project, from documentation, contracts and contractor engagement, through to final delivery, as well as ongoing office refurbishments.
  • Tracking project budgets and negotiating contractor costs when necessary.
  • Conducting building inspections and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures for all facilities and building maintenance or project management activities are documented.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • At least 2-3 years experience working in a Facilities Coordinator role.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Excellent initiative.
  • Strong tech skills.
  • A driver's license.
  • Full working rights.
