The role

As Accountant, you will help oversee the management of Corporate Carbon's financial accounts and reporting across multiple entities. This role will see you:

• Prepare and reconcile financial transactions, accounts, and journal entries.
• Deliver month-end close, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Support tax compliance and regulatory reporting, including BAS, payroll tax, and FBT.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide insights that support decision-making and budgeting.
• Contribute to process improvement, technology adoption, and reporting frameworks to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with auditors, accountants, and other service providers to ensure compliance and high-quality financial outcomes.

• Regulation, compliance and risk - Applies regulatory and compliance requirements to day-to-day work.
• Client service - Creates a culture where client service is central and where strategy, systems, and processes enable quality and efficient delivery.

Knowledge and experience

• Minimum of three years' experience in an accounts or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in financial and budgetary processes and systems.
• Advanced level experience using Xero.
• Advanced level Ms Office 365 applications including MS excel.
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance
