South East Dermatology is a long-established, highly regarded specialist medical practice providing comprehensive dermatological care across Brisbane.

Since the early 1990s, our team has grown steadily and is recognised for clinical excellence, strong patient relationships, and a professional, collegial culture.

We are now seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of our multi-doctor practice.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Directors, the Practice Manager will:

  • Lead and support nursing and reception supervisors.
  • Manage day-to-day clinical and administrative operations.
  • Oversee appointment scheduling, rosters, and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate facilities, WHS, IT and supplier management.
  • Manage insurance renewals, building maintenance, and compliance.
  • Handle escalated patient concerns with professionalism and discretion.
  • Collaborate with doctors and staff to align clinical and business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and practice development initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager in a specialist or surgical practice.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal ability.
  • Sound understanding of HR, payroll, and financial oversight.
  • Proficiency with practice management software (Genie preferred).
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Calm, professional approach with attention to detail.
  • Experience with WHS, accreditation and IT/service provider liaison (advantageous).
