Verto Consulting is a boutique Chartered Accounting Practice with an opportunity for an Office Junior / Receptionist to join the team.  This is a permanent part-time position, however will consider full-time applicants.

Joining a team of young professionals, you will be providing support to the partners and staff, along with being the first point of call for all client interaction.

Our office offers a relaxed and comfortable working environment.

The Role

Your role in the firm will include but is not limited to:

  • Update and assemble clients' details on varying software
  • Client liaison
  • Process daily invoicing/debtor statements and debt collection
  • Incoming & outgoing mail/emails/correspondence
  • Reception duties/taking calendar appointments
  • Update and create procedures/templates for client correspondence
  • Marketing / social media duties
  • Scanning/filing/binding and archiving as required
  • Provide administrative support to accountants, including assisting with ATO and ASIC enquiries
  • General office duties

Ideal Candidate should possess the following key attributes:

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office products
  • Previous experience in working in an accounting office environment preferred
  • Whilst not a prerequisite, preference will be provided to those with Xero experience

As this role will change over time, the successful candidate should have a willingness to adapt and learn. Remuneration will depend on the successful candidate's experience and ability.
