Exact Contracting are seeking an experienced 160t Crane Operator for our civil projects based in remote Northern Territory.

This is a FIFO role with flights available from most major Australian cities, working a 2:1 roster on a long-term civil construction project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cranes in compliance with Australian Standards and Exact Contracting procedures
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any defects or issues
  • Complete lift plans, SWMS, and risk assessments as required
  • Collaborate with supervisors, safety officers, and riggers to complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Operate other plant as required when there are no crane requirements

Requirements

  • Current driver's licence (essential);
  • Current construction white card (essential);
  • Minimum C0 High Risk Work Licence (essential);
  • Previous plant operating experience on a civil project or mine site (desired);
  • Proven commitment to health and safety;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment;
  • Personal drive and results orientated

Do you have experience operating our other plant?

  • Excavators: CAT 36T-300T, Hitachi 30T-190T;
  • Dozers:CAT D8, D9, D10 and D11;
  • Graders:CAT 12M, 14H/M, 16H/M and 24 H/M;
  • Loaders:CAT 966, 980, 988 and 992;
  • Scrapers:CAT 623, 627, 657.
