The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior Crane Technician to join the Nobles team. In this role, you will service overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and Company guidelines, typically under supervision.

What you will be required to do:

In this role you will work across several areas of our operations to aid and develop your skills in our unique industry. Working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday generally with regional work requirements from time to time.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service, repair, and test overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment on-site and in-house, following Australian Standards and Nobles procedures.
  • Complete accurate documentation, including site reports, repair quotes, and non-conformance records.
  • Travel to regional and interstate sites as required.
  • dentify, quote, and carry out repairs on customer equipment.
  • Assist with general workshop duties across stores, production, inspection, and testing.
  • Follow all HSEQ policies and report any incidents or hazards promptly.
  • Ensure work meets compliance standards and is completed safely and efficiently.

Required:

  • EWP Operator Yellow Card (scissor lift and boom lift)
  • High Risk Work Licence – Work Platform (WP) and Dogging (DG)
  • Working at Heights training (within 2 years)
  • Provisional Electrical Licence or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
  • Certificate III qualification or a minimum of two years on-the-job training
  • Preference for candidates with an electrical trade background
