We are pleased to offer an employment opportunity for the position of Junior Warehouse Assistant at VERVE Fitness, Australia's leading fitness supply company. This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment across our warehouse and outdoor areas.

Position Overview

The Junior Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are kept in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate a strong work ethic, operate our high-quality cleaning equipment; including a ride-on sweeper and floor scrubber to maintain professional cleaning standards throughout the warehouse, and contribute positively to our warehouse team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • General tidying and upkeep of warehouse, office and outdoor areas
  • Emptying bins and waste receptacles regularly
  • Flattening and organising cardboard for recycling
  • Breaking down and safely disposing of wood materials
  • Cleaning and maintaining the lunch area and staff facilities
  • Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning warehouse floors and exterior areas using our ride on sweeper and floor scrubber among other utensils
  • Supporting warehouse operations when required

Preferred Candidate

  • Ideally aged 17 to 19 years old. Great entry level opportunity
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual work
  • A current forklift licence would be highly regarded (but not essential)

Employment Details

  • Position Type: Casual (min 30 hours)
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4 pm
  • Location: Upper Coomera 4209
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Wage/Salary: General Retail Industry Award (MA age and experience will dictate starting wage
