Overview

Gineico are importers and exclusive distributors of leading Italian marine and architectural lighting brands, and we are looking for a passionate new member to join our team.

Our team is growing and now needs a fit young store person who is keen to learn and work with the Warehouse Manager.  We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, high care factor for the business and clients and loves the take-ownership approach that a small business environment offers.

We work with the biggest super yacht names in the business, Riviera, Maritimo, Sunseeker, Princess and Ferretii – just to name a few, supplying and custom making accessories that are second to none.

What do we require of our Storeroom Warehouse Legend?

As a vital part of our small, bustling team, our ideal candidate will:

  • Be mechanically minded
  • Able to use basic power tools
  • Current Australian Drivers licence required to drive company van to perform local deliveries
  • Computer literate skills with – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook/Email;  generally cloud savvy
  • Good presentation and grooming
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A natural rapport and relationship builder, at all levels
  • Able to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Solutions oriented, proactive and productive
  • Proven willingness to learn
  • Happy to work on their own

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Help the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day activities by assisting with storeroom duties, which could include:

  • Packing and dispatching goods to clients

  • Booking and tracking couriers by phone or online
  • Drop off to Australia Post
  • Drop off / pick up goods from clients or local suppliers or local trades
  • Receiving and checking of goods
  • Disassembling goods for modification and reassembling
  • Moving stock
  • Maintenance of warehouse and workbench area
  • Help co-ordinate activities, duties, display items, and logistics for 2-3 trade shows per year

Other experience beneficial:

  • Current Forklift license

Offer:

This is a full-time position entry level on offer but starting out as a casual position.

  • Minimum 30 hrs per week over 5 days
  • Mon-Fri 8.00am to 4.30pm

The candidate we are looking for is someone who wants to come to work every day, eager and self-motivated. Someone who is trustworthy and able to work unsupervised. Someone with a high care-factor, who will demonstrate this with a positive attitude and a take-ownership approach.
