About the Role
CadCon Surveying and Town Planning is a well-established consultancy based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. CadCon was established in 2001 and currently comprises a team of 8 who provide tailored surveying and town planning solutions across a wide range of projects in property development, land use and more.
We are currently seeking a qualified Land Surveyor who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. This is a unique opportunity with genuine long-term potential including the possibility of future equity for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct detail, boundary and construction surveys for a variety of private and commercial projects.
· Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and internal team members to deliver accurate and timely survey data and advice.
· Apply technical skills and gain further practical experience across all aspects of surveying.
· Adapt to varying work hours to meet specific project demands (standard 38-hour work week with paid overtime and time in lieu available).
· Participate in continuous learning and development within a highly collaborative team.
About You
· Bachelor degree in Surveying or Spatial Science.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Enthusiastic, adaptable and eager to learn industry best practices.
· Proficient with surveying computation and drafting software.
· High level of computer literacy, strong organisational skills and attention to detail is essential.
· Full, unrestricted driver's licence is essential.
· Registration with Surveyor Board of QLD or the ability to become registered.
· Hold a current White Card or be able to obtain one.
