Based on the northern Gold Coast, the business delivers projects throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Field Technician or Qualified Engineering Surveyor to join their team.

About you:

  • Currently studying, or already hold, a tertiary qualification in Spatial Science, Surveying, or a related field.
  • MUST have a valid Australian driver's licence, general construction white card, and full Australian working rights.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current engineering and civil surveying techniques, with a minimum of 2 years' industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GPS, Laser Scanners, and UAVs, ensuring regular inspections and calibrations to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for both you and your team while on site.
  • Work closely with Project Teams to deliver accurate field surveys and reports across a variety of engineering and urban development projects.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and contractors to ensure project deadlines are achieved and expectations are well managed.
