We are an Australian company with a national presence recognised for building modern energy solutions in the pursuit of energy efficiency, reliability, and emissions reduction.

Our diverse workforce delivers modern hot water, steam and furnace solutions and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia.

We provide boiler solutions and energy efficiency consulting, system design, and project management services, including EPC and maintenance, across steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations with boiler solutions.

The job

State Service Managers are intrinsic to the success of the O'Brien business, and their duties are broad.

Your job will include:

·       Engaging with customers to ensure they receive accurate and timely technician service and support.

·       Technician team management, recruitment, development and growth.

·       Continuous improvement across client satisfaction, service and maintenance.

·       Contribute to financial management and reporting.

·       Work with the scheduling team and provide guidance and support.

·       Ensure that safety is an absolute priority.

You will be responsible for contingency planning and continuously improving our rapid response capability. Sometimes, clients need us outside standard business hours, so flexibility is essential. Intra and occasional interstate travel, with some overnight stays, is a part of this job. This position will be based at our Preston, NSW office.

This is a Senior position in the business and will require you to engage with Clients and the Directors.

About you

This position will suit someone with 5+ years of experience in service management, operations, coordination, and planning. A qualified trade or engineering background will serve you well. You will require interpersonal and communication skills commensurate with the level of this position.

A valid driver's license is essential.
