We are driven to make a brighter and more positive future for our community by supporting people with spinal cord injuries to live their best life. As an organisation we are looking for people who take pride in their work and are committed to excellence.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a collaborative and proactive individual with proven experience in funding coordination and invoicing for NDIS, iCare, DSOA, insurance and other schemes applicable in disability support work. This role is responsible across all charitable services including Community Nursing, Allied Health, Personal Support, Supported Independent Living (SIL), and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate NDIS funding, ensuring participant budgets are accurately set up, monitored, and maintained.
- Process and reconcile claims and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission through the NDIS portal or plan managers.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS, iCare, and DSOA guidelines, maintaining accurate records and preparing regular funding utilisation reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders — including participants, families, clinicians, and support teams — to ensure services align with approved budgets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, supporting audits, quality assurance, and the development of training and process enhancements.
- Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure accurate invoicing and trouble shooting as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of funding and invoicing matters, escalating priority matters as needed.
About You
We're looking for someone with proven experience in the NDIS sector and can demonstrate:
- Strong understanding of NDIS funding structures, price guides, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in funding coordination, finance administration, or billing within disability, community, or allied health.
- Ability to develop and implement service plans and connect clients with community resources.
- Excellent administration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems (e.g. Lumary, ShiftCare, Splose).
- A professional, ethical approach with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proven experience in working with formula based Excel sheets.
- Valid NDISWC and Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
