THE OPPORTUNITY:

Are you looking to develop your purchasing/procurement career?

As a Category Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement strategy, managing contracts, and ensuring vendor compliance. You'll also lead smaller procurement projects independently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

This role spans primarily Spare Parts Procurement in a wide range of disciplines including HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security, Building, and Indirect Procurement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies
  • Tendering, contract negotiations, and documentation for all projects
  • Manage vendor compliance and performance
  • Lead smaller procurement projects from start to finish
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly team reports for internal and external stakeholder
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Deliver cost savings while meeting operational requirements

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • A degree in Commerce, Finance, Procurement or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year in a procurement/contract environment or 3+ years in office administration
  • Experience with document management (preferred)
  • Strong numerical, analytical and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Full Australian working rights
